With the OLYMPUS i-SPEED2 it is possible to capture pictures with a speed of 60 to 33000 pictures per second (up to 1 sec/picture in time lapse mode) and thereby enabling a quick and simple identification of processes.The user can subsequently evaluate new settings on the machine, increase production and lower the maintenance costs.
The idea for the concept of the iSPEED 2 von OLYMPUS was the develpment of a system which offers portability, functionality and user friendliness with optimum specifications. A camera which is suitable for semi-professional as well as highly professional applications.
In order to operate the Olympus i-SPEED-camera system you do not need to be an expert. Simply switch it on and the system is ready to record your highspeed events. Data analysis can be carried out immediately after recording and therefor decisions can be made on the spot and measurements can be made with the aid of the graphic live display. No PC necessary for operationg the camera. All the same, data can be transferred to a PC using a Compact Flash Card or Ethernet interface. Basic software is supplied. The OLYPMUS iSPEED 2-Highspeed camera is a closed system with a special Olympus CMOS-Sensor which delivers a resolution of 800x600 pixels at a frequency of 1000 pictures per second. The camera works with up to 33000 pictures per second which get recorded on to the on-board memory of 2GB or 4 GB. The cameras are available in colour and in black and white. ,
