The OLYMPUS i-SPEED 2 is as flexible as the user. Basically you have three possibilities to operate the camera.

i-SPEED 2 with remote control (RCP)
OLYMPUS i-SPEED 2 mit Fernbedienung The Olympus i-SPEED 2 can be controlled via a small, light remote control unit. (included in the consignment.)

The pictures can be viewed on a normal screen, a S-VGA monitor or on a digital recording device.

For the operation via remote control there is a user friendly and intuitive menu system available.

OLYMPUS i-SPEED 2 Control Display Unit The unique Olympus CDU has a brilliant 8,4 inch LCD-monitor, serving as a small,compact and user friendly operator console for the user. For operation there is no additional display or PC necessary.

With the aid of the user friendly menu structure the user can operate the system simply at the push of a button and with that alter the the recording speed,shutter speed,size and frame selection as well as beginning and end positions of a recording.Via the "Clip Select Editor" the user can quickly locate the relevant pictures and save these. You can choose only the desired pictures and save these whereby the saving speed gets optimised.

OLYMPUS i-SPEED 2 gesteuert über PC The basic software that comes with the camera enables the operation via a PC or a laptop. Pictures can be viewed live at a location a distance away from where the camera is positioned using the direct Gigabit-Ethernet connection.

Depending on the software requirements, a series of options are available, among others the software version Advanced and Deluxe,Data capture and IRIG/GPS hardware module Advanced und Deluxe, IRIG/GPS-Hardware module.
