With the system OLYMPUS i-SPEED 3 it is possible to capture pictures with a speed of 60 to 33000 pictures per second (up to 1 second /picture in time lapse mode) and thereby enabling a simple identification of of processes. The user can subsequently evaluate new settings on the machine, increase production and lower maintenance costs. Olympus' idea for the concept of theiSpeed 3 from Olympus was the development of a system which offers portability,functionalityand user friendliness with optimum specifications. In order to operate the Olympus i-SPEED-camera systems you do not need to be an expert. Simply switch it on and the system is ready to record your highspeed events. Data analysis can follow immediately after recording – decisions can be made on the spot,measurements done using the graphic live display. For operating the camera no PC is necessary. All the same data can be transferred using a CompactFlashCard or via an Ethernet interface to a PC. Basissoftware is supplied. It offers unique functions and was developed especially for this camera.

The OLYPMUS iSPEED 3-highspeed camera is a closed system with a special Olympus CMOS-Sensor which delivers 10000 pictures per second by a resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels (real).
